Handmade clothing is not just a thing of the past– it’s a trend that’s becoming more popular by the day. Store-bought clothes are assembly-line produced, cookie-cutter styles that just don’t satisfy a growing number of people.
I am a mother of three all of them girls, so I know an awfull about clothing needs, and why the stores just couldn’t get me what I wanted for them. When clothes are handmade they’re better quality, with a much greater range of styles and materials to choose from, particularly for specialty dresses like those for christinings or Weddings.
A lot of people like handmade clothing simply because they want to wear something different from what everyone else is wearing. They’re looking for unique styles to display their personal flair, or maybe something as simple as getting a different color or style for traditional clothing they just can’t find in the stores. Maybe they like ribbons, buttons, bows and lots of ruffles–they won’t find those in stores!
So next time you’re looking for something to wear to express yourself, do yourself a favor and look beyond the mall stores!
